Entry-Level Candidates: Candidates who are new to law enforcement and/or corrections must complete a written and physical exam through Public Safety Testing (PST). PST offers in-person and remote testing options. To schedule an exam please visit http://www.publicsafetytesting.com or call (866) 447-3911. After you have successfully passed the written and physical exam, your scores will be sent to Kittitas County and we will contact you with information about the next steps of the recruitment process.

Deputy Sheriffs perform a variety of duties including routine patrol, issuing infractions, enforcing DUI laws, assisting motorists, handling investigations of crimes, and more.
