Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
The Kittitas County Fair is one of the oldest fairs in the State of Washington. Since the first fair was held on the outskirts of Ellensburg in 1886, fairgoers have returned again and again to visit the fine arts and photography, youth crafts, and 4H/FFA agricultural and livestock exhibitions. The Kittitas County Fair offers great food, exciting Davis Amusement Cascadia carnival rides and games, and a step into the past in our Frontier Village. Add to the fun the Ellensburg Rodeo and Saturday night's Xtreme Bull, both top ranking Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) outdoor arena events, and you have the makings of an exciting Labor Day Weekend!
