Entry Level applicants for KCSO positions are ranked on an "eligibility list" based on
their written test, physical agility test, and oral board results. Once you
are ranked the following information is required on a Personal History
Statement (PHS). We recommend that you start gathering the information right
away. The sooner you accurately complete the PHS the sooner you can be
considered for hire. Entry level applicants will complete their PHS through Public Safety Testing. Lateral applicants will
be sent a PHS packet by the Chief Examiner.
