The clerk receives and processes all document presented in a Superior Court cause of action. The processing of court documents involves record classification, assignment of cause number, computerized docketing and manual filing of hard copy records.

Fax Costs are set by statute:
$5.00 1st page, and $1.00 each page thereafter.

Any filing which is presented via FAX is required to meet Court Rules for processing. In addition, this process is available as a paid for convenience to those cases who accept the requirement to pay by credit card via NCourt, incur the credit card processing fees, and pay the statutory required fax fees.

Requests need:

  • To be fully completed and submitted by 4:30 pm (Pacific Time Zone) to be filed in that same day.
  • Have a completed cover sheet.
  • Pay $5.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page.
  • Payment confirmation.

Improperly presented faxes may be subject to a faulty document fee of $15.00.
