Kittitas County, WA - 08/15/2016 - A vehicle carrying 5 local men in their 20's crashed on Upper Peoh Point Road about 4 PM Saturday evening, claiming the life of Upper County Resident Terrance Cushing.
The vehicle had five occupants, the driver Jordan M. Brickman, Terrance Cushing, Justin Cushing,Brad V. Tschauner, Michael Couey. The group were said to be returning from a day at Lake Cle Elum. The vehicle was East-Bound when it left the roadway on a sweeping corner, just before it crosses I-90. The preliminary Investigation shows alcohol and excessive speed as contributing factors in the crash. The driver and other passengers sustained minor injures. " The family and community are now suffering from another unnecessary loss. As our thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family, the occupants of the vehicle and the driver, as his life is now forever changed. The Sheriff's Office would like to use this tragedy to emphasize the need to look out for each other while recreating. If you see someone should not drive, don't let them."
