Candidate Filing - 2025 General Election Preparation

Beginning on May 5th and continuing through May 9th, the Kittitas County Auditor’s office will accept declarations of candidacy for Local Elected Positions scheduled to appear on the 2025 General Election Ballot. Beginning on May 5th and continuing through May 9th, the Kittitas County Auditor’s office will accept declarations of candidacy for Local Elected Positions scheduled to appear on the 2025 General Election Ballot. Filings may be submitted either:
 

• Electronically at:

https://voter.votewa.gov/candidatefiling/candidatelogin.aspx
Electronic filing begins at 8:00am on Monday, May 5th and will continue through 5:00pm Friday, May 9th. 

• In person at the office of the Kittitas County Auditor, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, during regular business hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

 
 
Declarations of Candidacy can be accepted through the mail beginning April 21st    but will not be considered ‘filed’ until May 5th.
