Treasurer's Office in Upper County during April

Kittitas County, WA - 03/24/2025 - Treasurer's Office offers property tax payment collection in Upper County

The Kittitas County Treasurer’s office will again be collecting property taxes in Upper County during April at the Kittitas County Upper District Sheriff's Substation office. 

Beginning Tuesday, April 1st, payments can be made on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Upper District Court building at 700 E 1st Street, Cle Elum WA. This schedule will continue through Tuesday, April 29th. We hope that this will provide easier access for making tax payments to all county residents.
 
The Kittitas County Treasurer also also provides the following ways for property owners to pay their taxes quickly and conveniently:

• Online through your bank’s bill payment services.
• Online through our self-managed payment portal; paymybills.link/Kittitas, or by calling Point and Pay directly at (866) 279-1721. Please note that a 2.49% credit card fee, a $3.95 debit card fee, or a $2 echeck fee will be charged for this service.
• By mail - Taxpayers should include their payment coupon and write the property tax account number on their check or money order. Cash should not be sent through the mail.
• In person at the Treasurer's office in the Kittitas County Courthouse, 205 W 5th Avenue, Suite 102, Ellensburg. 
• A black Drop Box is located outside of the Courthouse on the left side of the driveway for easy drive-through access. DO NOT use the white Ballot box for tax payments.
• A Mail Slot is located inside the Courthouse next to the Treasurer’s office door.
