Kittitas County Building Department Going Paperless

Kittitas County, WA - 02/10/2025 - Beginning April 1, 2025, the Building division of Kittitas County Community Development Services will be going paperless.

Community Development Services is pleased to announce the implementation of paperless building permit submittals, plan review services, and inspections for all building permit types. Applicants are encouraged to read the attached “Electronic Building Permit Submittal Instructions” and submit building permit documents in one of two ways:
 

1. Email submittal items to permits@co.kittitas.wa.us or,
2. Submit items through the uploader feature on the Community Development Services website https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/cds/default.aspx

 
A paper copy of documents will still be accepted by Kittitas County Community Development Services but will be scanned into the permit tracking system for plan review and inspections.
