Kittitas County, WA - 11/20/2023 - Kittitas County is seeing an increase in local seasonal influenza (flu) activity, specifically Influenza A. Influenza A is the most common type of influenza currently circulating. Flu symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches, tiredness, and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea.
The Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) wants to remind everyone to take steps to prevent the flu and get vaccinated. Steps to prevent seasonal flu include:
