Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA - 09/29/2023 - The Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) and Community Health of Central Washington (CHCW) will be holding the annual drive-thru flu vaccination clinic on October 25, 2023, from 7 am to 4 pm.
KCPHD, CHCW staff, and agency partners will hold the clinic at the Kittitas County Fair Grounds Western Village on 8th and Alder Street (1010 E 8th in Ellensburg). Vehicles should enter from Alder Street. Vaccines are free for children and adults, but supply is limited and will be first come-first served. Flu vaccination is the best way to prevent getting the flu. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone over the age of 6 months receive a flu shot every year. It is especially important for certain groups of people to be vaccinated every year including:
