State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and
the Columbia River.
Become a Master Composter of Kittitas County and join your neighbors who are
seeking ways to reduce, reuse, recycle and restore the environment and soil.
As a Master Composter, you will learn the helpful hints of "how and why"
during a FREE seminar offered by Kittitas County Solid Waste Programs.
Then, you will be asked to devote at least 15 hours sharing your newfound
skills with the public. You can volunteer at various community activity booths,
at classes, or help establish a compost demonstration site at locations in both
upper and lower Kittitas County.
For more information, or to indicate your interest, call Kittitas County
