Airport | Master Plan

In October 2000, a Strategic Planning Committee was formed comprised of representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration, Central Washington University, Aviation professionals, Chamber of Commerce, and surrounding property owners. The task for this Committee was to establish the needs of Bowers Field for the next 20 years. In order for Bowers Field to be eligible for Federal Funding the Master Plan must be updated every 10 years.

Almost four years later on July 6, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners Signed the final Master Plan and Airport Layout Plan followed by the Federal Aviation Administration signing on July 28, 2004.
