Kittitas County, WA - 06/01/2017 - At approximately 12:49am of June 1, 2017, Kittitas County Deputies were dispatched to a train versus pedestrian call on South Canyon Road near Ringer Loop road.
Burlington North Santa Fe railroad company reported a person may have been struck by a train. An unidentified female, approximately 20 to 40 years old, was located deceased near the railroad tracks. The female did not have identification on her person. The Kittitas County Coroner's Office and Kittitas County Sheriff's Office detectives are working on identifying her and the circumstances of the incident. The unidentified person is a white female, approximately 5'5", between the age of 20 to 40 years old, brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.
