Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA - 12/12/2016 - On December 15, 2016 at 10 a.m., the Kittitas County Board of Health (BOH) and the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold a joint public hearing in the Commissioners’ Auditorium at 205 W. 5th Avenue in Ellensburg. The public hearing will be to consider proposed changes for the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) Fee Schedule and Fee Schedule Policy.
The proposed fee change is a result of a new fee development methodology that has been implemented for environmental health fees for 2017. The fees have been updated to reflect the utilization of the new methodology to develop and calculate fees on an annual basis. Changes have also been made to reflect new services as well as removal for services that are no longer available. In addition, there were clarifications made to the policy language to reflect changes with the methodology. Anyone who is interested in the matter should attend the public hearing. Anyone in attendance may give public testimony. Written comments can be sent to the address above prior to the hearing on the 15th. For more information about the proposed changes visit http://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/notices/default.aspx?pnID=3662 or contact the Kittitas County Public Health Department at 509-962-7515.
