State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and
the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA -
The 2018 Kittitas County Tax Roll has been certified and statements will be mailed in early February. Current and past tax information is now available online at www.co.kittitas.wa.us/treasurer. This year’s tax roll contains 44,278 tax accounts.
Each year, the offices of the County Assessor and Treasurer work together to balance the property assessments and generate the new tax roll. The great working relationship between these two offices made it possible to get the roll certified and statements mailed on time.
Tax Statements – We received a great deal of positive feedback on the new tax statement design implemented last year.
Tax Payments – Payments can be made by check, cash, debit and credit card for tax payments. To help with the processing of your tax payments, please be sure to include your tax statement or make a note of the parcel number(s) and year(s) you are paying.
Timely Mailing - Be aware of your mail pickup and delivery service schedule, as the U.S. Postal Service postmark is the key factor when determining if payments were mailed by their due date. Unfortunately, last minute mailings can result in delinquent taxes and interest assessments. As a reminder, April 30th, 2018 is the first half payment due date and October 31st, 2018 is the second half payment due date.
Address Corrections – A correct mailing address is important for proper delivery of tax statements. If you have moved or will soon be moving, please notify our office. You may also make an address change request on the face of your tax statement coupon when making a payment.
Contact Us - Visit the Treasurer’s website at www.co.kittitas.wa.us/treasurer for current and past tax information, payment history, address change requests or to contact us via email. You may also call our office at 509-962-7535 with any questions or concerns. We are open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
